UnWine at The State
Sip, Swirl, and UnWine!
UnWine at The State is our month-long celebration of Washington wines, inviting you to sip, savor, and toast the incredible winemakers in our backyard. Join us in The State Hotel lobby for a curated tasting experience featuring wines from Abeja Winery, Long Shadows, Mark Ryan, Browne Family Vineyard, and Canoe Ridge Vineyard. Tastings take place every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday in March from 4–6 PM. Cheers to great pours and even better company!
Taste Washington Weekend, March 13–16—join us for exclusive enhanced wine tastings from 4PM-6PM each day featuring Abeja (Thursday), Long Shadows & Nine Hats (Friday), Browne Family Vineyards (Saturday), and Canoe Ridge (Sunday).
This experience is complimentary for hotel guests, with proof of key card. Tickets ($5 per person) available for the public.

Join us the second Friday of each month and make it a night to remember!

Carly Calbero
Lounge and listen on Wednesday, March 19 from 4PM-6PM as The State Hotel becomes a stage for Seattle’s vibrant music scene, where local artists like Carly Calbero share their sound and story, adding another layer of creativity to a space already rich with artistic expression. Carly Ann Calbero, a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from just outside Seattle, honed her craft at Pike Place Market before earning recognition in Rolling Stone and Seattle Met. With a blend of choir roots and self-taught guitar skills, her voice often compared to Brandi Carlile and Tracy Chapman.
Drinking In The Rain
At Little Ben's Rooftop Bar
Embrace Seattle’s signature drizzle with a drink in hand at Drinking In The Rain! Every Saturday in April from 2–6 PM, head up to Little Ben’s Bar on The State Hotel’s rooftop for stunning views of the city, Pike Place Market, and Puget Sound—rain or shine. Hotel guests enjoy a complimentary drink and a rainbow umbrella hat, while public tickets ($5) include the same fun perks. Sip on craft cocktails, savor our happy hour menu, and make the most of a true Seattle spring. Because a little rain never stopped a good time!
